Rob founded Walsh & Associates in 1989 and has guided its growth from a single-person design studio to a full-service agency. As the firm’s lead graphic designer, Rob directs branding and communications for a wide range of clients while overseeing all of the agency’s creative work.

Prior to putting out the Walsh & Associates shingle, Rob worked for agencies throughout New England, including Campbell-Ewald and The Design Collaborative in Boston, and Chellis, Conwell & Gale in Portland. He is a Rhode Island School of Design graduate, with degrees in fine art and landscape architecture.

John Walsh
Partner and Copywriter

John officially joined the firm in 1992 after stints as creative director and copy chief at Potter Hazelhurst. He helps our clients define their messaging and then articulates their brand voice in a wide range of media, including traditional print, Web, broadcast, annual reports, and editorial environments.

John’s communications experience spans three decades, during which time he has authored an award-winning newsletter on grammar, written and directed a documentary for PBS airing, and served as managing editor for several magazines with worldwide distribution. He holds a degree in English and American Literature from Brown University.

Carla joined Walsh in 1993 after stints with Potter Hazlehurst and Gilbane Building Company. She is a graduate of Community College of Rhode Island and The Sawyer School.

Don McRobert
Graphic Designer

Don applies his expert design skills on a wide range of communication projects for clients, including ads, brochures, catalogs, Web sites, packaging, signage and direct mail. Don’s work is distinguished by a photographer’s eye for composition (he’s good with a digital camera) and a watercolorist’s sense of color (his paintings have hung in Newport and Cape Cod galleries).

Don’s portfolio includes work for Hasbro, Cross Pens, Fram, Astra Pharmaceuticals, Avery Dennison, and Boston Scientific. He was a Society of Illustrators exhibitor. Don is a graduate of SUNY Potsdam and has studied at Rhode Island School of Design.

Bridget Snow
Graphic Designer

Bridget is an accomplished art director with far-ranging graphics skills, as well as expertise in publication design and production. Catalog projects with encyclopedic scope and daunting timelines are tamed by Bridget’s focus and design chops. She’s a great illustrator, too.

Prior to Walsh & Associates, Bridget headed up several agency design departments, managed an illustration studio, and held adjunct faculty positions at Rhode Island School of Design and Massachusetts College of Art. Her work has been honored in Art Direction Creativity Magazine and Print Magazine’s Design Annual. Bridget has a degree in fine arts from Rhode Island School of Design.
