Branding 101
Driving around the west of Ireland, sheep are everywhere. More than once, we had to stop our car in the middle of the road to let an approaching herd pass by us. No big deal. But why the spray-painted spots on their backsides, some red, some blue? Gotta distinguish your sheep from your neighbors’ somehow…

Cattle ranchers, of course, have a more permanent technique for branding their livestock. But the objective is the same, as it is for any marketer: how do you clearly distinguish your stuff from all the other similar stuff out there? Or looked at another way, how do you make your goods unique?

We’ve been involved with branding campaigns at all levels – from big-budget identity projects for major corporations to quick logo designs for Mom and Pop establishments. No, these projects do not have to have a five- or six-figure price tag, though they easily can. But no matter what the cost, it’s one of the most important investments a marketer can make. Check out our branding portfolio.
